Toranaga, created in 2013 by Andrei Olaru and published by Kreativ Font, is a free Japanese-inspired display font. Its lean, uneven strokes form tall letters with broad crossbars and sharply simplified curves. The drawing feels spare and deliberate.
Restaurants, martial arts studios, and game publishers could use its angular construction for branding rooted in Japanese visual culture without relying on ornament. On posters and editorial covers, the long horizontal strokes can echo architectural lines or ink-drawn borders and become part of the page's graphic framework.
