Solidblock 3D, designed by Lorenz Fidel Huchthausen of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free outlined techno display font. Broad geometric letters combine rounded corners with sharply clipped joins. Offset edges suggest folded sides and shallow extrusion.
The outlined faces echo wireframe machinery and low-poly illustration, fitting game graphics and technology posters. Packaging can turn the dimensional letterforms into part of a product graphic. Its clearest audience is gaming and electronic music culture, especially independent releases with a retro-digital look.
