Sfd004 by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press is a free hand-drawn sign dingbat font built from thin, uneven strokes and sharply turned forms. Its loose construction resembles quick marker notation, with open angular symbols and tilted geometric outlines that retain small variations in line weight and alignment, as if each form were drawn in a quick single pass.

Mystery, coded messages, and improvised wayfinding are natural themes for game graphics and puzzle publishing, while the rough geometry also fits experimental music posters and offbeat merchandise. It is strongest when used as a set of invented signs.
