Salterio Police

Salterio by Paulo W of Intellecta Design is a free outlined medieval blackletter font with tall, narrow forms and theatrical curves. Hooked flourishes make the uneven contours look deliberately unruly.

It can lend an old-world voice to fantasy game titles and a more eccentric edge to music posters. Album packaging and historical event graphics share the same advantage: pale interiors and wandering outlines behave almost like pieces of decorative illustration.
