Nebula is a free experimental display font with tall, wiry letters and a deliberately unstable silhouette. Stroke widths shift sharply, and several forms lean, overlap, or break away from familiar proportions. Its mix of severe angles and loose curves resembles lettering drawn with a ruler that kept slipping.
An underground music poster is its most convincing setting, since the awkward forms suit abrasive or offbeat acts. It can also give album artwork, fashion graphics, and festival merchandise a raw, improvised edge. There, the lettering can become part of the illustration, like a web of scratched lines rather than neutral type.
