Nabatea by deFharo is a free decorative display font with jagged, sharply cut letterforms. Uneven stroke widths and skewed joins give the capitals a rough-hewn silhouette, with narrow gaps and abrupt angles recurring across the alphabet.

An independent game studio or music label could use it to build an identity around folklore, mystery, or handmade graphics. It also fits festival posters, album packaging, and fantasy publishing, where the irregular shapes can become part of borders, maps, or angular illustration. Nabatea is a typeface carved with a hammer into hard stone by an individual from the ancient Nabataean people of Arabia Petraea, between the Red Sea and the Euphrates River. It is a tribute to Petra, the Nabataean capital.
