MusiQwik by Robert Allgeyer is a free musical notation dingbat font of staff lines and note forms. Solid noteheads and fine strokes recall printed sheet music. The forms are clean and direct.
Musical illustrations can incorporate its notation as part of the image itself. It suits recital programs, lesson materials, concert posters, and album packaging. Music teachers, performers, and event organizers are the natural audience for these clear, practical score-based marks.

Description
MusiQwik is a special-purpose music notation font that may be used in word processing documents. Be sure that you embed the font in your documents or re-distribute the font to those who wish to see your music. This is MusiQwik version 5. It has improved compliance with Open Type specifications, minor corrections to some drawings, and a few added glyphs. It may appear at slightly different size than prior versions. To choose the characters, you need a character map utility. The one that comes with your computer should work, but if the pictures are too small then find a third-party utility. The font includes clefs, time signatures, key signatures, and a number of other staff symbols. It also includes elements for constructing notes from 1/1 to 1/8 duration, with or without accidental or dot, at a variety of pitches. This is sufficient for depicting the melodies of most popular songs and church hymns. The companion font, MusiQwikB, contains sixteenth notes. You may use the hyphen (-) key to insert a tiny segment of staff, if alignment of the notes is important. Regular sections of staff are inserted using the equal (=) key.Be sure that word wrapping is turned off, or your staff will break in unexpected locations. This font looks best at 24 point size or larger.
