Laso Serif by Opipik is a free experimental display font with oversized curves and extreme shifts between broad masses and hairline joins. The tightly packed letters form an almost continuous, dramatic ornamental band.
Publishing is its strongest medium, especially for fashion spreads, art books, and magazine mastheads that benefit from lettering with a strong silhouette. Its sculptural shapes could also give fragrance packaging or boutique branding a recognizable identity drawn as much from ornament as from type.
