Knots by Alexander Kominek of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free rope-pattern display font built from interlaced strands. Its outlined strokes resemble carefully tied cord. Loops and crossings give each letter a dense handmade texture without hiding the basic shapes.

As illustrated lettering, it can turn children's book covers, craft packaging, and puzzle-game graphics into part of the picture rather than simple text. The knotted construction is especially convincing for scouting event posters and nautical merchandise.
