GothicHandDirty Police

GothicHandDirty by Manuel Viergutz is a free distressed blackletter font with jagged strokes and a roughly inked surface. Its pointed forms, uneven edges, and stray scratch marks give the lettering the look of a hurried medieval inscription.

Medieval and dark fantasy themes make it a convincing choice for game packaging, music merchandise, and Halloween event posters, where the broken texture can become part of the artwork. In publishing, it is especially suited to horror covers and historical magazine features that benefit from lettering resembling damaged ink on old paper or weathered parchment.
