Goldminer, credited to Noah, is a free retro display font with extremely tall, compressed capitals and a hard-edged industrial silhouette. Broad vertical strokes alternate with fine lines, and clipped corners give the lettering a sharply cut, almost engraved appearance.

Its frontier-poster character suits music posters, themed event graphics, and packaging for products with an Old West or mining reference. On album covers, the narrow letters can echo shafts, timbers, and angular decorative borders, making the typography part of the surrounding illustration.
