Note de l'auteur
Galactic Basic font by Erikstormtrooper is a free sci-fi dingbat typeface that transforms standard text into sharp, angular glyphs that feel ripped from a starship console. Thick, blocky strokes and dramatic diagonals create a coded, off-world script that’s still rhythmically consistent, so lines of text look like believable alien writing rather than random symbols. The solid black fills give it a bold, stamped-on-metal presence.
Using Galactic Basic, you can add in-universe flavor to fan posters, cosplay badges, prop interfaces, game HUDs, stickers, or themed event signage. This free font works beautifully when you set it large and pair it with a clean geometric sans in English beneath, treating the dingbat line as the “native language” and the sans as a translation.
--
A more movie-accurate version of the popular Aurebesh. Includes rightside-up characters (as seen in Return of the Jedi) and upside-down characters (as seen in Attack of the Clones).
