FakeReceipt by Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts Inc. is a free dotted display font built from evenly spaced circular marks. Its rounded construction gives the capitals a playful, mechanical look.

Brands with a digital, novelty, or maker focus can use it for logos and packaging that echoes dot-matrix printing. The same bead-like lettering suits game graphics, event posters, and merchandise with a lighthearted technological theme. It is most convincing on packaging, where the dots can become a repeatable graphic motif.

Fake Receipt was created in 1999 and resembles print from a typical late-20th-century cash register. It supports additional languages and includes fractions and numeric ordinals. Its vertical metrics have been improved for web performance.
