Display Gothic G, created by Wolf Lambert in 2012 and based on lldaddy's i-Ching, is a free techno display font with broad, squared lettering. Its dense checkerboard texture, open cutouts, and blunt geometric shapes recall illuminated scoreboards and early electronic signage.
Arcade brands and gaming events can use its mechanical texture for logos, posters, and merchandise. It feels especially suited to retro-futurist entertainment. The font is most convincing when a title needs to resemble a large electronic display.
