Bitter Police

Bitter by pinkcamellia is a free pixel font built from stark square modules and narrow upright strokes. Its letters alternate between dense block shapes and open, skeletal forms, with detached pixels and hard right angles creating the look of an early low-resolution display.

Digital graphics are the most natural medium for this design, especially game menus and electronic music artwork that can use its deliberately crude construction. It can also suit tech-event signage or merchandise with an arcade-inspired theme. In editorial design, Bitter could turn a section opener into a piece of screen imagery.
