Ballade Bold Police

Ballade Bold by Dieter Steffmann of Typographer Mediengestaltung is a free medieval display font with broad, dark letterforms and a hand-cut silhouette. Its changing stroke widths, pointed tops, softly uneven curves, and tight joins recall manuscript lettering without relying on elaborate decoration.
