Apocalypse Regular Police

Apocalypse, designed by Steve Cloutier of PYRS Fontlab Ltd., is a free eroded display font with the mass of an oversized slab serif. Its broad capitals are packed with scratches, torn patches, handwritten fragments, diagrams, and map-like lines. The uneven collage texture makes each letter resemble a damaged poster or photocopied archive.

As a piece of distressed imagery rather than neutral lettering, it can turn music posters, game titles, and streetwear graphics into artifacts with a chaotic, underground edge. Its layered marks also suit magazine covers and experimental publishing, where the type can function like found material within the page.
