Ampul by Dan Evans of FontStruct is a free retro serif display font with broad, dark strokes and softly flared ends. Its rounded joins and compact lowercase forms give the lettering a friendly 1970s flavor, though the uneven stroke widths keep it from feeling slick or geometric.
