Akaash, conçue par Sayamindu Dasgupta et Palash Baran Pal, est une police sans empattement gratuite au style sobre et moderne. Les lettres sont légères et aérées, mariant des formes arrondies à des traits quasi monolignes qui donnent à la police un rythme fluide et contemporain, loin de la froideur des géométriques trop strictes.
Elle convient parfaitement aux étiquettes d'interface, aux encadrés éditoriaux, aux affiches culturelles, aux packagings de logiciels et aux titres épurés où une sans serif douce apporte de la sérénité.
